Eden Park Fans Enjoy Next-Level Mobile Connectivity – Thanks to MatSing USA and Maser Communications NZ Ltd
Auckland’s Eden Park has scored a major win and New Zealand first for Spark and One NZ mobile customers with the installation of cutting-edge lens antenna technology from MatSing USA, provided by their local partner Maser Communications NZ. The upgrade means fans can stay connected to whānau and friends who didn’t make it to the event, stream video and post to social media in real time, while enjoying high-speed mobile coverage during packed sporting and entertainment events.
To meet the demands of New Zealand’s largest stadium, an advanced multibeam antenna has been deployed to deliver high-capacity connectivity across the field and seating areas. This technology uses a patented spherical lens design to minimise interference and maximise performance, ensuring fans can share every moment in real time.
“There’s a growing need for robust connectivity at major venues, and our lens antennas are proven to deliver industry-leading performance,” said Bo Larsson, CEO of MatSing. “We’re proud to help Eden Park set a new standard for fan experience.”
Ross Patterson, GM of Maser Communications NZ, added: “As a locally operated company, we’re thrilled to bring this innovation to Eden Park. It means fans can stay connected during iconic Kiwi events for years to come.”
Michael Molony, General Manager of Network Evolution at Spark says: “Reliable connectivity matters to our customers – whether they’re cheering on their favourite sports team from the stands or dancing with friends at a concert. That’s why we’ve partnered with Maser, MatSing USA, One NZ, and Downer to deliver a better network experience at Eden Park, giving our customers fast speeds, seamless streaming, and dependable coverage when events are at their busiest.”
“With one goal in mind; helping to deliver a better-connected Aotearoa, we’re proud to work alongside our partners; Spark, Maser Communications NZ Ltd, MatSing USA, and Downer Group NZ, as we all work together to bring high-speed connectivity and seamless coverage to Eden Park,” Thorsten Teichmann, One NZ Head of RAN Design & Delivery.
